Social Activities

The School offers a diverse programme of events and activities that allow students to fully appreciate local culture, to meet other students and provide opportunities to use the English they learn in the school to make friends.

We arrange visits to the theatre, cinema, musicals, concerts, art galleries, exhibitions, museums and any other places that may be of interest including local pubs. Recently, our students have seen productions of “Chicago”, “The Lion King”, “Phantom of the Opera”, “Fame” and “We Will Rock You”. As a School, we can often get the best tickets to shows at less than half price.

The social programme also includes excursions to places outside of London and rich in British history and culture including the world famous academic cities of Oxford and Cambridge, the UNESCO World Heritage site, Bath, with its beautiful Georgian architecture and Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

Other well-established events in the centroloyolailo calendar are at the end of term parties, at which students are invited to bring food from their countries.
