General English

centroloyolailo offers general English language courses at six different levels set within the Common European Framework for language ability and assessment. Our General English classes cover all skills of language: reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, oral and written comprehension, as well as pronunciation and phonetics, letter writing, idioms and colloquialisms.

centroloyolailo offers a flexible timetable enabling students to choose from:

Part-time – 6 hours per week or more
Full-time – 15 hours per week or more

Classes are held from Monday to Friday at the following times depending on the type of course you choose and your level of English:
09:30 to 12:45 (includes a 15-minute break)
13:00 to 16:15 (includes a 15-minute break)
13:00 to 14:30
18:30 to 21:00 (includes a 10-minute break)
Our group classes are small and friendly, with a maximum class size of 14. We use course books with additional individual topic material and listening aids.

Teachers are the most important asset of any school. At centroloyolailo, we have a team of professionally qualified and highly experienced teachers, who are not only excellent at teaching but are enthusiastic about their work and understand and appreciate the needs of students.

Fluency Workshops

To complement our General English courses, centroloyolailo offers fluency workshops in the afternoons. These workshops provide students with the necessary skills to be more confident in communicating in English. The workshops are particularly suitable for students wanting to maximise their progress whilst in London or are preparing for examinations.

Students can take the workshops on their own or combined with a General English or an Exam Preparation course.

Exam Preparation

All courses offered by centroloyolailo follow a syllabus and have objectives that are designed to equip students with the necessary skills in all aspects of language to sit for exams appropriate to the level of their course. All students are encouraged to discuss their readiness for an exam with their teacher or the Director of Studies.

For students wanting more intense exam practise and development of exam technique, it is recommended that students also enrol on an afternoon workshop in preparation for either the Cambridge (FCE, CAE and CPE) or IELTS exams as required.
